After successfully completing their Bachelor of Music in Classical Performance, Em is currently studying their honours degree at UWA under the tutelage of Erin Royer.

Em plays Alto, Tenor and Baritone saxophone across a variety of ensembles within UWA including the Jazz Band, Wind Orchestra and Saxophone Ensemble. Em also plays Baritone in a community ensemble, Metro Big Band, that regularly performs at the Ellington Jazz Club and Lyric's Underground.

When Em is not playing music, they can be found reading poetry and collecting beautiful words they keep in a list on their phone. The last word added was "Unspool".
