About Us

At the heart of Mirabilis Collective are its co-founders, Stephanie Nicholls and Tresna Stampalia, whose friendship and creative collaboration date back to their university days. Their shared journey through orchestras, chamber music ensembles, and Australian touring musical theatre productions has been a testament to the power of uniting through music.

Mirabilis Collective was born from a vision to create a space where women musicians could come together to perform, empower and inspire each other. Stephanie and Tresna's experiences have taught them the incredible value of working alongside other talented women, each bringing their unique strengths and perspectives to the ensemble.

Our mission is to cultivate a community where women from diverse musical backgrounds can connect, collaborate, and excel.

Mirabilis Collective is a vibrant artistic hub where the exchange of ideas and experiences fuels our collective growth and creativity.

We embrace an intergenerational approach, recognising that women of all ages have invaluable insights and skills to contribute. This blend of experience and fresh perspectives is key to our innovative and sustainable approach to music-making.

Our performances are dedicated to showcasing the rich contributions of women composers and musicians. We aim to create concerts that are musically enriching and celebrate the resilience and creativity of women in the arts.

Join us at Mirabilis Collective as we bring together women in music to create, perform, and inspire. Connect with us to experience the power and impact of women collaborating in music.
