Eva Tucker

Eva Tucker is a passionate clarinettist in her fourth year of a Bachelor of Music at the University of Western Australia. She has performed with the UWA Wind Orchestra and currently plays in the UWA Symphony Orchestra, with additional experience in chamber music and a variety of performance projects.

From 2021 to 2023, Eva was a member of the West Australian Youth Orchestra Philharmonic (WAYO), performing in major orchestral programs across Perth. Since 2020, she has also played with the West Australian Fire and Emergency Services Concert Band, performing on clarinet, bass clarinet, E-flat clarinet, and more recently, alto saxophone. Eva has supported several high school musical productions, contributing both as a performer and ensemble member.

Eva has studied with Catherine Cahill and currently learns from Som Howie. She teaches clarinet at Methodist Ladies’ College and Sacred Heart College.

Eva plans to complete Honours on the east coast and pursue a Master’s in Orchestral Performance in Europe, aiming for a professional career as an orchestral musician.
