SUPPORT HEAR HER NOW

Help bring 100 works by 100 women to the stage.

In October 2026, Mirabilis Collective will present Hear Her Now, Australia’s first chamber music festival programmed entirely with music by women.

Across the festival, we aim to bring 100 works by 100 women to audiences in Perth and beyond. Your support will help us share bold music, new commissions, and extraordinary creative voices.

All donations doubled until 31 May

Mirabilis Collective has been selected for Creative Australia’s MATCH Lab, a highly competitive fundraising mentorship program.

Through Match Lab, all donations made before 31 May will be doubled, up to $10,000.

Mirabilis Collective is a registered charity, and all donations of $2 or more are tax-deductible.

Why this matters

For centuries, women composers have been overlooked, forgotten, or never heard at all. Their music — powerful, innovative, and essential — has been underrepresented in concert programming, marginalised in syllabuses, and too rarely recorded.

Hear Her Now responds to that history with action. Through performance, storytelling, and new commissions, Mirabilis Collective is creating space for this music to be heard, valued, and shared with audiences in Perth and beyond.

Our four impact levels show some of the ways your support can help bring Hear Her Now to life, from the foundations of festival delivery to the support of new commissions.

Two commissioned works remain available for patron support.

Our impact so far

Since 2023, Mirabilis Collective has performed works by more than 130 women composers, brought music into schools and communities across Western Australia, and created space for mentorship and collaboration. With your support, Hear Her Now will help that work reach further.

“Composing and arranging for Mirabilis Collective has been a turning point in my career as an emerging composer. Not only has it allowed me to refine my compositional skills under the mentorship and guidance I have graciously received, but it has also given me the chance to collaborate with musicians and leaders in a truly supportive and encouraging environment. Through my work with Mirabilis, I have had three commissions professionally performed and reviewed, which has been incredibly impactful in establishing myself as a composer in the professional landscape.”
— Candice Susnjar, 2024 Composer in Residence
