Help women in regional WA turn their experiences into original songs, building confidence, connection and pride through making music together.
In Narrogin, women worked alongside Mirabilis musicians to write songs drawn from their lives. Some had never written a song before. They heard their music arranged for chamber ensemble and performed it with us in their own community.
Now we want to bring Narrogin and Bunbury together through Her Sound, Her Story Together
Women will write new songs with our support. School and community choirs will learn them, travel between the two towns, and perform together with Mirabilis Collective.
Your donation helps fund songwriting mentorship, musical arrangements, workshops, travel and performances — creating opportunities for women to share their stories, form friendships and take pride in what they create.

Travel between Narrogin and Bunbury so the communities can perform together.
We plan to work with community choirs and primary schools in Narrogin and Bunbury, bringing different generations together through music.
Building on something that works
Our Narrogin and Wagin project brought seven local songwriters together with Mirabilis Collective to develop and perform seven original songs, supported by 24 songwriting and mentoring workshops.
Now we want to build on those connections and bring the opportunity to more people.
Wheatbelt songwriter Jan Smith shares how making music with Mirabilis Collective helped her connect with other music makers in her community. Through songwriting and shared performances, local stories became songs and new friendships formed.
