Yaashinii Vasudavan

Fourteen-year-old Yaashinii Vasudavan is already making waves in the classical music world as both a pianist and cellist. Her dedication to her craft was recognised last year when she obtained the Licentiate in Piano Performance with Distinction from Trinity College London, a significant achievement for a musician of any age.

Yaashinii's musical journey has been marked by numerous accolades in both international and local competitions. Her performances have graced prestigious venues across the globe, including:

  • The Elgar Room at the Royal Albert Hall, London (2016)

  • Carnegie Hall, New York (2017)

  • The Marriott Grand Ballroom in Kuala Lumpur, celebrating Poland's National Day (2019)

Currently a Year 9 student at Methodist Ladies College, Yaashinii is an active participant in various music ensembles, demonstrating her commitment to collaborative musicianship. She enjoys many other extra curricular activities.
